Trump Criticizes Flint Pastor But Misstates Key Facts About Their Encounter
Source: NPR
I was in the room as a pool reporter at the time and here's what happened..........she didn't appear nervous at all
...
"The audience was saying let him speak, let him speak," Trump told Fox and Friends.
That isn't true. In fact, several audience members began to heckle Trump, asking pointed questions about whether he racially discriminated against black tenants as a landlord.
And that's when Timmons who Trump said Thursday had planned to ambush him stepped in to defend Trump, saying the Republican nominee was "a guest of my church, and you will respect him."
"Thank you. Thank you, pastor," Trump responded.
The pointed questions for Trump continued as Trump wrapped up his remarks, though and that's the moment when the press traveling with Trump was hastily escorted out of the room.

(52,206 posts)the media goes way out of their way to find untrustworthiness in hillary's actions -- a workaholic soldiering through an illness is somehow an example of untrustworthiness -- yet trump just flat out lies left and right, it's so obvious and out in the open.
but somehow they always spin trump as "telling it like it is".

(1,907 posts)And probably the only reason those people showed up was respect for the pastor. They didn't show the whole crowds reaction when he started his bs. But I saw one guy put down his phone and start walking out. He did stop when she came out and stopped dipshit. That was showing respect for her, not him.

(73,631 posts)Perhaps a nervous system anomaly which distorts his senses to the point where he's unable to determine the world around himself.
Sounds and objects, along with events are scrambled in such a way that he doesn't perceive them accurately. That could explain his frequently irrational behavior and language.
In other words, he's a really sick man.
Either that, or he's just a lying scumbag who's utterly incapable of telling the truth.
Either way, not good.

(8,998 posts)I am worried that Wallace will be Trump's key witness in the final debate. Not a fact checker, eh?
I hope HRC will have him diced to pieces in the first debate and that he will then pretend to be unable to do more debates.
We need a noise button from 3 independent fact checkers to use each time he sprouts some lie they can instantly check. It will be noisy but worth while.

(6,276 posts)he stated that the people responsible for the Flint Water crisis didn't know what they were doing.
They did and did it anyway and some are being prosecuted or jailed now. The Manager of the city at the time was appointed by the Republican Governor. So he lied about that as well.
