Clinton has 7 point lead over Trump in new national McClatchy-Marist Poll

Source: Talking Points Memo

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by seven points among likely voters in a head-to-head matchup, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll released Friday morning.

When third party candidates are added to the question, Clinton leads Trump by six points, 45-39, among likely voters, with Libertarian Gary Johnson at 10 points and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at four points.

The last national McClatchy-Marist poll released in early August did not survey likely voters and instead polled a broader pool of registered voters. In that poll, Clinton led Trump among registered voters by 15 points, 48-33.

And the debate will seal the deal.
I think.
I hope.

She just needs a couple more votes per precinct, literally between 2 & 6 votes per, to win in a landslide. That's the difference each of us can have, if we get a few more people registered to vote and get them to vote early or on election day.

Tightening up, but I think the debate will show how ill-prepared Trump is for the job and seal the deal.

Likely voters always skew more conservative.

Good to see Clinton solidifying her already solid lead. Seems her (not-really-a) drop in this poll is simply due to two different sample methods.

There will be no line he wont cross, Its gonna get ugly quick. Look how he devastated his opponents in the primary. Watch how this motherfucker pounces on her with a balls to the walls mindset. How does anyone prepare for someone like Trump?

He wont be able to hide while 15 others argue over his remarks, it is 1 on 1, he cant dominate the first 20 and last 20 while disappearing in between..he did not fare very well when it was down to 3 or 4 in the primaries, but by then it was too late.
