Giuliani: If I Were Trump, I’d Skip Future Debates; Holt ‘Should Be Ashamed’ for Stop-and-Frisk Intervention

by Ken Meyer | 10:26 am, September 27th, 2016

Donald Trump supporter Rudy Giuliani came off of last night’s debate by saying that Lester Holt did an awful job as moderator, and that Trump might as well skip the remaining general election debates.

One of the most contentious points of the debate was when Holt locked horns with Trump over the mogul’s recent suggestion to bring back stop-and-frisk as a way to reduce crime. The practice was found to disproportionately target minority groups and was deemed unconstitutional by a circuit judge back in 2013, though Trump defended it on the stage on Monday night.

Giuliani employed the controversial practice when he was the mayor of New York City, and he told reporters last night that Holt “should be ashamed of himself” for challenging it.

“If I were Donald Trump I wouldn’t participate in another debate unless I was promised that the journalist would act like a journalist and not an incorrect, ignorant fact checker,” Giuliani said. “If journalism has ethics, Lester Holt unethically interfering in the area of law he knows nothing about.”

He really should zip it. He doesn't know beans about journalism,
civil rights, public opinion, or ethics. He is defining ethics as someone
who bends the rules to the way he, Giuliani, likes them for political purposes.

Boast when you win, especially against a weaker person. But someone stands up to you, run, run away. Trump will likely try to be super nasty in town hall, then duck last formal debate.

Giuliani wants to take all the credit for a crime rate that was dropping irrespective of the stop and frisk practice. It is like seeing a ball roll down hill and thinking you invented gravity. If nothing, it created an atmosphere of distrust between minority neighborhoods and the police. Imagine walking down the street and having someone come up to you and say 'let me pat you down because you look suspicious'. Ignore the facts Rudy, they get in the way of a good story.

Seriously, stop-and-frisk has nothing to do with reducing or stopping murders.

Randomly stopping someone on flimsy suspicion that they may be committing a crime in public has nothing to do with stopping murders (often not committed in public).

Trump and Giuliani like this fascist and bigoted law because they know that white males are not the people unfairly targeted by that shit police practice (Black and Hispanic males primarily, are).

Racial profiling there former mayor, and to the bigot that was standing on the podium, looking like deer eyes shining in headlights last night, is still racial profiling.

And like the old saying goes:

You can put lip stick on a pig, but its still a pig.

Your stop and frisk there "dude" was deemed unconstitutional for a reason, it was not "law and order" not even close.
Can you imagine there "dude" if you could put yourself in the shoes and be of color for one minute and be profiled---you have no right wing concept-----------none, it goes right over your head

Your crony, liar, fraudster, narcissistic, misogynistic A**got it handed to him last night--------------he's a loser and he should be indicted and fired.

Show the public your IRS Audit Letter, its a real simple letter, usually one page, not the BS from some attorney, the actual IRS Audit Letter for the years being under audit-------------produce that letter.

Loser

And has for skipping the next debate---------------good, Clinton and Kaine will show -up, at least it will show there "dude" that they take the responsibility seriously and will "SHOW-UP", while your "boys" are sitting in the corner with there faces starring in the corner, whining and throwing temper tantrums.

What I can't wait to see is how Kaine is going to go after a "guy" that likes to discriminate against people that love one another of the same sex, and and bankrupted the state while governor , great ticket one "guy" that is a racist and the other that is a bigot and they are both right wing hypocrites

Its still a pig

The next debate will be Clinton by herself on the stage, broadcast on all 3 networks, making her case for her vision. Trump can have his own little rally elsewhere at his own expense. She can look over at Trump's empty podium, "I'd love to hear what my esteemed opponent has to say about this, but he must have had something better to do."
