House strikes deal on Flint, potentially ending shutdown threat

Source: The Hill

By Melanie Zanona - 09/27/16 11:29 PM EDT

House leaders have reached a deal to potentially include emergency funding for lead-contaminated communities like Flint, Mich., in a waterways bill in a move that is designed to stave off an election-year government shutdown later this week.

The agreement comes after Senate Democrats and a handful of Republicans blocked a stop-gap spending bill to fund the government past Sept. 30. Democrats opposed the legislation because it lacked Flint aid but included help for Louisiana flood victims.

The House Rules Committee agreed late Tuesday night to allow a floor vote on a bipartisan amendment from Reps. Dan Kildee (D-Mich.) and John Moolenar (R-Mich.) that would authorize up to $170 million for communities around the country that are facing a drinking water crisis.

The panel reversed course from a meeting on Monday, when committee lawmakers said they could not waive a budgetary point of order for a $220 million Flint amendment offered by Kildee to the water infrastructure bill.

2. There works days this year under the Ayn Rand and turtle was 111 days

nice huh.

So at 223,000 a year they made $2,009.00+ dollars a day for these 111 days.

So at 174,000 a year they made about 1567.56+ a day for these 111 days

While that scam was going on, they were gallivanting around the country, supporting a pathological liar, saying that what he said was inappropriate, but they would still vote for the pathological liar, that demeans woman

And said on a national stage, that Rosie O'Donnell and Miss Universe " that they deserve it" , being called pigs, dogs, etc....and so the dumpster is an abuser against woman and no one in the "republican party" is holding him accountable

And no one from Conway, Bannon, Christie, and Ryan, McConnell, McCarthy and all of the supporters of this pathological liar are still in office, working 111 days this year, and with no shame, while in the back ground they were trying to figure out how to shaft people all around, and blame people all around, and privatize all government services

the "republican side of the aisle, have been getting away with this ever since they took back the house under Gingrich.

Just think, back when two tone John Boehnor stood in the well of the house of Congress and was passing out bribe money from the tobacco people, what happened to him, he became Speaker of House-amazing, commit a crime and get $223,000 a year to do more damage, and now he's a lobbyists for the tobacco, driving around in a 45 foot bus, that sleeps 6.

Then, when Eddie Munster gets in there and becomes the new Speaker of the House, the first thing him and turtle lips have been trying to do, is use the deficit as a means to privatize social security, medicare, Medicaid, first thing, blame government, you and me and millions of others, not the lobbyists or corporations nope, blame the citizens.

So, they use stop gap spending to break the proverbial bank, which costs us more in treasury bonds, and setting a limit on those making over $118,500.01 to stop paying into Social Security, they don't have to pay into the programs, so me/you and everyone making less than $118,500.01 have to bankroll those that do make that kind of money, nice huh.

Then they continue allowing corporations to off shore profits, so what do they do, they want to have a BS program of giving these same firms a break and cut the corporate tax down from 39% to 25%, what a bunch of HS, some firms have paid zero, zilch, nadda, Boeing, Wells Fargo, GE, Donald Trump (yes even Donald Trump), make America great again, racists, bigot, fraud.

Let, say if you bring your profit back into the country we will give you a tax break, so in essence these companies get this, they buy back there stocks, don't create any jobs, but give themselves millions to there bank accounts, and start over again, what a scam, and they do this with an enabling scam republican congress, having lobbyists sit in there office, using the Oct 1, budget deadline with only 111 days working, as means to hold it over the heads of the country and the citizens waiting for there social seciruty checks, etc....., every year since they have been in power, every year.

I can remember before the days of the "scam called "contract of America, nice ring---huh, BS.
The democrats held committee meetings and they held them to show what they were spending on everything, not this crowd, they are enablers of a serial abuser of women running for the office to hold the keys of the codes to commit nuclear war. And these twits, saying it nicely are going around saying that they condemn what he says but will vote for him, just so that they can put this country through another 35 to 45 years of right wing judges on the Supreme Court, enforcing the Lewis Powell Memo.

And know one in the media except Lawrence o'Donnell called out and asked if Kellyanne Conway, (the same Kellyanne Conway, from breibart and Robert Mercer, another extremists who made millions and billions has a hedge fund manger support the hate called breitbart and others that support this dumpster), if they are are "NOT ASHAMED" to helping this serial abuser called Donald Trump a a man that has abused women, blacks, Indigenous people, Mexicans, Latino's, everyone, that is not a racist, bigoted fraud --------nope

They just want that U.S. Supreme court at all costs, to overturn woman's right to choice, tax breaks for the corporations, and the gutting of the programs for the middle class

Sure you can use anything I say, I just can't stand someone making that kind of taxpayer money and really doing nothing except to get on a train and hate me for being a progressive bleeding heart liberal, that wants to help people have a better life and be from the middle class

Go right ahead-----------and (Wado) Thank you and, to you

The math on the salaries is great. I posted it on my Senator's FB page to remind him and everyone he's only worked 111 days this year. Cory Gardner, over $3 million in bribes from the NRA. An endorsement from the Denver Post. The man's a scammer and supports Trump.

Unbelievable!

10. Cory Gardner is just like the the owner of Pepsi Center, the same "guy" that now owns

the Los Angeles Rams, ( former St. Louis Rams), the same "guy" that threatened the population of St. Louis that he was going to move the rams back to LA if he didn't get a new stadium, but still moved them.

So the bait and switch begins, the city (St. Louis) came up with a plan, to help Stan Kroenke (net worth over 3.5 Billion) to build a brand spanking new stadium, even though the "old one" was only 10 years old (taxpayer funds). He Kroekne, goes to the NFL owners and ask to move to California, he gets approval>

So to make a long story short the taxpayers of California are going to build a 1.5 Billion dollar stadium, while Kroenke gets his corporate tax breaks, never mind that property taxes are going to go sky high in California, making it more difficult to find a home, state bonds are going to go up, because the taxpayers will have to pay for this stadium.
Never mind that once he played on city against the other, and then moves, nope, he gets those tax breaks, and is private development ownership stocks go through the roof, sound familiar, look at the dumpster, same game plan.

The "guy" that owes the Avalanche, Nuggets, Arsenal (UK), Pepsi Center.

My niece in (Colorado) who is just getting her law license hates, him.

Why may you ask here's why:

The same "guy" that did this: So the questions that needs to be asked is who owns Denver and Colorado?

Stan Kroenke (23)
Owner, Kroenke Sports Enterprises
He’s one of the super-rich owners (his net worth = $3.2 billion) who are holding most—and quite possibly all—of the NBA’s 2011-12 season hostage to “fix” a league that isn’t nearly as broken as his cohorts would have us believe. And to do so, he’s taking away jobs from the people who need them the most during these direst of times. Talk about balls.

Cory Gardner

https://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/summary.php?cid=N00030780

The same team mates, that stiffs taxpayers Gardner and Kroenke.

Lets talk about this for one moment

Kronke, goes into a town, and tells the city, that he is going to create jobs, blah, blab, but with one caveat, the "tax payers" help pay for the new stadium, easement rights into the stadium, and they have to get the bond money footed by the tax payers, and he gets a tax break on top of that, so he doesn't have to pay any taxes----------nice huh, but build me a stadium because I'm Stan Kroenke.

Cory Gardner is doing the same thing to the senior citizens in Colorado, and across the country.

He is allowing corporations to off shore there profits like Kroenke, Dumpster, GE, Wells Fargo, etc...( Kroenke's Arsenal, he does own the team because they do generate money for him at the front end, but he owns them because he gets a tax breaks) and Gardner is allowing this to happen, while everyone else gets stiffed.

He has not presented one bill to force Apple for instance to pay taxes on there profits, not one, while in Ireland, Apple has a tax rate of .0005%, and they just got hit by the EU for a 14 Billion tax, why not here. They are a 200+ Billion oligarchy, pitting one country against another country to off shore profits

Denver, if memory serves me correctly is still paying for the bonds on the Avalanche Pepsi Center.

Pepsi is paying Kroenke to have there name on that place, and he gets the tax break, see, the scam.

The citizens of the city and state, don't have any shares, none, they only get to go and see the teams play.

Only one team has the citizens own the team and that is the Green Bay packers, everything goes through the owners of the team all 300,000 season ticket owners, they can sell there seats to someone else, but they cannot sell the team unless "all" of the owners say and that's not going to happen. They could not remodel Lambeau the citizens of the town have a say and they get the tax break.

How much taxes did Kroenke pay, how much? How much did he pay into Social Security after he made $118,500.01 -----nothing, not one dime

Taxpayers in Denver and the state are still paying for his tax breaks-----amazing

Look at who is funding Gardner, Koch's, how much did they pay in taxes, how much of it is off shored.

The same company that is fracking the precious water there in the high country, they should be taxed 5,000% for taking that water, you can't replace it, its poisoned. The water under Rocky Flats, really, that's one reason I didn't live up there.

What is Gardner doing about this------------------nothing, and it should be placed right in his proverbial right wing lap.

He goes around and spews his concept of life, while being a hypocrite, that people are dying because of fracking and the poisoning of water.

The Indigenous People my (Lakota brothers and sisters) up in the North Dakota Standing Rock and we as a whole in this country are going to pay for this, what has Gardner said, nothing, he is beholden to the same companies that are in North Dakota.

Gardener is hypocrite, he, supports a SERIAL ABUSER of Woman, Blacks, Indigenous People, Mexicans, Latino's etc.... and whats really classic he condones his party leadership for saying one thing about this narcissistic, racists, fascist, pathological liar and that they will vote for the same "guy" drumpenfuhrer that committed treason by trading with Cuba during the embargo.

They are only concerned about the U.S. Supreme Court, the same court that forgot quite easily that the second amendment means a "WELL REGULATED" for a reason

Another Rant----------(Wado) thank you

You are the best

What is truly amazing is that his (drumpsfuhrer) ex-wives have nothing nice to say about him-------------that says everything. Or they have a gag order---------nothing

That says that his character with woman is a joke, he is a SERIAL ABUSER, he can never apologize for his actions, to anyone, he is a spoiled brat, and he is a fraud, bigot, racists, narcissistic pathological liar, that has used every means to have a slush fund, to violate trade embargo, to bribing State Attorney Generals, and defrauding students in a scam

While in the Clinton household, there was an apology, between two adults, and sit down, lets talk moment
