Trump aide: Clintons don't 'get what it means to be American'
Source: The Hill
An aide to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump says Bill and Hillary Clinton don't "get what it means to be an American."
"I think the Clintons are so separated from regular people, they can't quite connect," Jason Miller, a top spokesman for Trump, argued on Fox News's "The Kelly File" on Wednesday.
"How do you go from not being able to pay either of your mortgages when you leave the White House to being worth a couple hundred million dollars without ever doing so much as billing an hour of legal work or producing anything or winning Powerball or anything else?" he said.
"And so, they live in alternate reality, and I don't think they get what it means to be an American," he said.

(101,336 posts)because they actually want to, and have spent their whole adult lives finding out about other people. And both had pretty normal childhoods, although their ability would have marked them out a little.
Trump, on the other hand, grew up rich, with a father who could pay for special schooling when Trump's personality turned out to be defective. And since then, money has insulated him from normal people, and since he's never had any empathy whatsoever for any other person, that has isolated him more than any candidate I can think of (Dubya also had a privileged childhood, but he actually wants to be personally liked, rather than just admired, and that will have made him a bit more understanding of others).
This, as your picture shows, is some of the worst projection you can imagine.
