Big trouble for Trump as voter turnout ‘explodes’ among blacks and Hispanics

Voter turnout among African American and Hispanic voters in the United States is surging, and this swell of minority participation could spell trouble for Donald Trumps White House hopes.
On Sunday the last day of early voting before Election Day on November 8 hundreds of people attended Souls to the Polls events, aimed at encouraging churchgoers to vote across the key swing state of Florida.
Some came straight from morning worship, wearing three-piece suits and dresses as they made their way past dozens of campaigners hoisting signs for local candidates and urging support for solar energy and education issues.
At one event in central Miami, people held hands and prayed outside an early voting site, while at another in southern Miami-Dade County, about 20 African American men rolled in together on motorcycles.

(1,727 posts)the polls IMO.
Same thing happened in the last cycle when Obama outperformed most of polls. I believe that the disparity might be even greater this time.

(2,322 posts)...And outvote that racial group. Which they would have if (1) most American had agreed (Latinos are still a minority and could be outvoted) and (2) if Trump had stuck to one racial group. Sticking to one, Trump might have fooled everyone into thinking "oh, I'm safe, he's only after those people who are of this minority and here illegally..." But Trump didn't stick with vilifying Mexicans. He vilified Muslims, blacks, women, Jews, even the disabled. And that gives the game away.
Which is why the GOP is falling apart. Because he gave their game away. The way you're supposed to do it is to pick one minority to vilify and say "all problems are on them!" and then after you get into office on that, THEN you go after everyone on the list of "undesirables" (aka: not christian white and male. Also not rich, but, again, they don't tell their voters that.) It's worked incredibly well for them up to this point. But Trump, thinking he was living in 1950's America and had it in the bag if he got white male voters, didn't do the numbers. He didn't realize that if you add up minorities + women + non-Christians and toss in non-hetrosexual and disabled you end up with more voters than white-christian-males.
