The Better Business Bureau (BBB) this week revoked the accreditation from MyPillow for false advertising. The companys CEO, Mike Lindell, recently campaigned for President-elect Donald Trump and promised to give the then-nominee all my credibility.
According to BBB, the companys buy one, get one free offer is actually the regular product price, which violates an advertising code of conduct agreed to by MyPillow.
Among other issues, BBB has attempted to persuade MyPillow to discontinue their buy one get one free (BOGO)/other discount offers without success, BBB of Minnesota and North Dakota CEO Dana Badgerow said, according to KARE. Continuous BOGO offers, which can then be construed as an items regular, everyday price, violate not only BBBs Code of Advertising which all BBB Accredited Businesses agree to abide by but also other state and national organizations rules.
KARE reported that CEO Mike Lindell said he was considering making changes to MyPillows pricing structure in 2017.

(I have been wanting to use this emoji. Ha! )#1 - for being a bully-grabber-man backer
#2 - for unethical business practices
1000's of people will come knocking for their money back or to get an actual sale price.

(4,266 posts)Hard to miss it, as shiny gold as it is. If he wants to wear a crucifix, fine, but it's like he's brandishing it for the camera.
Either his cameraman is a vampire, or he's sending an unsaid message to his intended audience. Heh.

(13,595 posts)The BBB has become nothing more than a shakedown racket. If you pay to become a BBB member (or renew,) they never do this sort of thing to you. The BOGO scheme is rampant with all advertisers, not just these pillows.
