A KKK leader suddenly disappeared. His body was found by a river a few days later, police say.

Source: Washington Post

A Missouri man who identified himself as the leader of a Ku Klux Klan chapter has been found dead several days after he was reported missing, officials said.

The body of Frank Ancona of Leadwood, Mo., was discovered late Saturday on a river bank in a rural part of the state, Washington County Sheriff Zach Jacobsen said in a statement posted to Facebook.

A family headed to fish in the Big River came across the body, KMOV News reported.

After Ancona’s disappearance, a U.S. Forest Service employee found his car on national forest land, Jacobsen said. The sheriff said the department requested help from other agencies on the case “due to the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Mr. Ancona.”

Probably most of this type get their start in the Aryan Nation (a prison gang) or some affiliate group.

They are huge into meth and now heroine.

Malissa Ancona said she could not speak in detail yet about anything that might have taken place after that, on the advice of a police detective from a neighboring department that is also handling the investigation. Doesn't pass the smell test.

Wife and stepson of slain Ku Klux Klan 'imperial wizard' in Missouri charged with his murder

The wife and stepson of a slain Ku Klux Klan leader in Missouri were charged Monday with his murder.

Malissa Ancona, the wife of Frank Ancona, and stepson Paul Jenkinson both face first-degree murder charges, as well as charges for tampering with physical evidence and abandonment of a corpse.

A probable cause statement said Jenkinson, 24, shot and killed his sleeping stepfather last Thursday. Ancona’s body was found in a river near Belgrade over the weekend, with a gunshot wound in his head.

Malissa Ancona, 44, told police she helped clean up her husband’s blood and tried to cover up the crime, the statement said.

Leader of Missouri KKK group found shot to death near the Big River

By Renee Bronaugh Park Hills Daily Journal 3 hrs ago

The leader of a Missouri Ku Klux Klan group was found dead of a gunshot wound near the Big River by a family in the area to go fishing.

An autopsy revealed that Frank Ancona, 51, had been shot in the head, officials said.

Washington County Sheriff Zach Jacobsen said one man was arrested on an unrelated warrant, and that an investigation into the death was continuing.

“Right now no one has been charged in his death, but that may change tomorrow,” Jacobsen said.

I wonder if the kkk didn't like that.
I would post the link, but I'm not sure how sleazy the site is (as I found it on Google and didn't review the website).
