Used to watch that too - basically the first of the syndicated "television court" shows.

Just clicked the link because I said to myself - He was "up there" in age back when he was on the show, he has to be in his 90s. Saw that he was 97! Wow.

R.I.P.

My son loved that show. He liked Judge Judy when he was a kid, too.

RIP

Judge Wapner's Animal Court is a nontraditional/arbitration-based reality court show in which Judge Joseph Wapner (more known as the original judge on The People's Court) and his bailiff Rusty Burrell (also a People's Court carryover) preside over real cases involving or about animals. It was shown on Animal Planet for 2 seasons (1998–99, 1999-00).

on his back after my father had received life-threatening shrapnel in his neck and lungs from a grenade explosion. Most of the other men scattered, but Judge Wapner went back alone and picked up my father and carried him on his back until he reached the camp.

So, I am sad that he has passed away, but he was my father's age, so he must have been in his 90s.

Rest in peace.
