Officials: Fire set at church bought by white supremacist

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Investigators say a fire that destroyed a North Dakota church recently purchased by a white supremacist was set.

The state fire marshal's office tells KFGO radio (http://bit.ly/2oOwDCo ) the fire was started by an "open flame device" near a door of the former Zion Evangelical Free Church in Nome.

Craig Cobb bought the century-old building for $8,000 and estimates his loss at more than double that because he had moved in some furniture. He said he welcomes the finding.

The fire marshal's report says the building had no electrical service or heat. New locks were installed one day before the fire.

.... these guys all look the same? For a "superior" race they all look sorta creepy and weak to me. Its only the younger skinhead nazi's who are the "stereotypical" racists. Sadly I know more than my share of these nasty people. Most of them are either very ...... limited shall we say, in the brains department and/or in the physical department. Think of the kids at school who get their lunch money taken from them and they are too scared to stand up for themselves. THAT'S your real life white supremacists, only grown up and filled with hate and self loathing. And with a house full of guns.

8. This was the guy who thought that he could turn small towns in ND into Nazivilles...

by buying up inexpensive vacant buildings in places like Leith ND, and putting out a call to like-minded assholes to join him there. A few others actually moved there, but they were in for a rude awakening: the remaining long term residents pretty much kicked them to the curb by every legal (nonviolent) way they could come up with.

The creep probably burned it down himself, for the insurance (if he had any).
