Poll: Christie is most unpopular governor in US

Source: MSN

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) is the most unpopular governor in the U.S., a new poll finds.
Seventy-one percent of New Jersey votes disapprove of Christie while just 25 percent approve, according to the Morning Consult poll released Tuesday.
Christie edged out Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback (R) as the nation's least popular. Brownback had a 66 percent disapproval to 27 percent approval, the poll found.
Christie's numbers decreased after he dropped out of last year's GOP presidential primary and became a surrogate for then-candidate Donald Trump, the poll said.
On the flip side, Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker (R) was rated the most popular governor, with 75 percent approval to 17 percent disapproval. Following Baker on the list were Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum (R).
Morning Consult surveyed 85,000 registered voters across the country from January 2017 through March 2017. The poll asked voters about the job performance of their local politicians, including the governor, two senators, and representative. The results are emblematic of Christie's poor numbers in the last year. It's hard to imagine the same thing happening twice once you have raced to the bottom . At least my friend Donald has a golden parachute. If he will let me hold on for the ride down.

His former aides are doing jail time and he should be right there with them. The fact that he got away with it while his aide didn't makes Christie look like the sneaky weasel he is.

When I was campaigning for president ,I talked about red lines and how I would handle Putin. I said cross my line and I'll do it, I'll do it, I'll do it. I'll get um with my right hook and knock em down for the count.
My friend Donald needs me now more than ever. And I want the job. The only problem I see is I know it's long way down and the fall happens fast ! That scares me !

it doesn't always work. He must be very unhealthy, with his 1/2 stomach stretched all of that way.

... I know that's not saying much.

I believe Christie has many problems but his main one is Cheeto 45. If Christie had just stayed away from Trump we wouldn't even be talking about him now. Yeah the bridge thing was stupid and evil, but considering all the evil the GOP is guilty of, his isn't so bad. In New Jersey it's just typical bullshit.

Christie will never survive this bro-mance with Trump though - his political career is dead.
As far as unpopular Republican governors, my God the list is huge.

Just sayin'.

is finding a place to park his ass where the seat won't be ripped out from under him.He is his own worst enemy. But that doesn't make him any less dangerous. As to why did she remain loyal, she didn't and her written and recorded account of what went down is very much in the record , some of which is public. If you don't recall ,Christie made a public statement saying there was no PROVABLE evidence,as seen on tv. He is disgusting in every way.

... that Charlie Baker is a decent guy. A non-ideologue, socially liberal governor.

And MA very often chooses a Republican governor for various reasons, one of which is that we don't often have a good Democratic candidate.
