A short-term spending agreement to keep the federal government open for another week passed the House of Representatives on Friday.
The U.S. Senate is expected to pass the short-term deal later Friday and House and Senate negotiators are expected to work through the weekend to finalize a longer-term deal that would fund the government through the end of the fiscal year in September.

(22,670 posts)What's the U.S. deficit up to now Donald?
As of Wednesday it was $19,846,044,436,483.65.

Hmmm. How about that? And you want to cut the government's tax revenue stream? Now?
Could this be any worse!!!!
