President Donald Trump on Sunday tweeted that a new plan to repeal and replace Obamacare is on its way, though he did not specify when.
Will have much lower premiums & deductibles while at the same time taking care of pre-existing conditions! he tweeted. ObamaCare is dead.
Trump also went after Democrats, who he called the party of obstruction.

(9,241 posts)If he is accusing anyone else of something, it's because that's what he does or is doing HIMSELF. (or, the Republicans are. This is how they operate - Distraction/Projection - always accuse the opposition of doing what you're doing yourself).
And they do that because it works.
No political party in the US is as obstructionist as the one who stole a USSC seat - let it sit empty for a YEAR because they wanted an alt-right American Taliban extremist in it. And that party was the Republican Party.

(16,858 posts)So let's unpack them, shall we???
A). Obamacare is more popular than ever
B). It is an obvious success, despite attempts from the right to dismantle it
C). Dems are fighting resistance not obstruction, and while having a "leader" is a bit vague, we have plenty of leaders fighting for the people against trump.
D). Either he has no plan, or his plan puts preexisting conditions into high risk pools, which is tantamount to revoking their healthcare. It's clear that he wants to bring down the Affordable Care Act, because it is Obama's signature accomplishment. He has no clue about healthcare, cares little for the repucussions, and it's obvious he only cares about shreding President Obama's legacy.

"Donald Trump Says He'll Have His Own Obamacare Replacement Plan' Soon"
Why didn't republicans support him and get it going?

(5,294 posts)1. Is this "soon" going to be like when he promised to release his taxes "soon", or Melania will have that press conference to explain her immigration history "soon"?
2. If he's still working on the healthcare plan, what was up with those shit sandwiches he's tried to push through? Why not wait until you actually have something GOOD unless your only desire is to merely have something?
