Sebastian Gorka to accept position outside White House: report

Sebastian Gorka, a deputy assistant to the president, will take a position that deals with the "war of ideas" regarding radical Islamic extremism, sources told The Washington Examiner on Sunday.

Gorka has served as both a national security adviser and on the Strategic Initiatives Group, which is an organization within the White House, according to the publication.

The news he is accepting an outside role comes after reports raising questions about his security clearance status.

Gorka has served for months on the Strategic Initiatives Group, an internal organization within the White House, and as a national security adviser. His exit from the White House comes amid increased speculation that a reported lack of a security clearance prevented him from fully performing in his job.

But a source told the Washington Examiner that Gorka's role in SIG was always meant to be temporary, and suggested he had been placed there while administration officials created a terrorism-related position for him elsewhere in the government. An official said Gorka has been in a "holding pattern" while he waited for the position, which will not be at the State Department, to be established.

The difference here is that Gorka is a legit fuckin' nazi, a true believer with a phony PhD and absolutely no experience in the mideast. The dumb fuck doesn't speak any Arabic and in fact has never been to the MidEast...Yet Trump and his minions at Faux have no problem trotting him out to warm of the creeping dangers of sharia or scary Syrian terror babies.

Gorka needs to be in prison, not in a cushy non clearance required Federal job.

The official said that Gorka had initially been hired to sit on the strategic initiatives group, an advisory panel created by Trump’s chief strategist Steve Bannon to run parallel to the national security council.

But that group fizzled out in the early months of the administration. Gorka was unable to get clearance for the national security council after he was charged last year with carrying a weapon at Ronald Reagan Washington national airport.

The Guardian reported in April that Gorka attempted to push a plan to partition Libya into three as part of an effort to be named special envoy to the country by Trump.
