House Speaker Paul Ryan was asked today for his response to President Trumps tweet sending a warning to James Comey on Twitter about supposed tapes of their conversations.
Ryan was asked by a reporter today, What are your thoughts about what some have considered to be a threatening tweet from the president directed at Mr. Comey?
This was Ryans full answer, per CNNs Jake Tapper:

(9,426 posts)money poured into the RNC coffers, so Paul HAS to keep quiet. Rumor has it there is a tape of Ryan and McConnell discussing laundering that money. I hope this is true, and it is exposed. McConnell is doing his part, refusing to allow an independant investigation. How can ONE man wield so much power?

(128,908 posts)until they "lead" to Drumpf and you and Turtle and then your plans are to obstruct any further investigation while directing your Committee Chairs to "move on", delay, stall, or circumvent the other Committee members by running directly to the President to manufacture what will be a false talking point based on distorted info (like Nunes did by illegally taking classified info out of a secure area given to him by the President's staff, and then blaming it on someone else).

(22,912 posts)Trump is no longer some guy campaigning for votes. He is tweeting as the President of the United States.
You are lying if you say you haven't read them, but if you're somehow telling the truth you're an idiot. You of all people need to know what our President is communicating to the world. Are you saying to the world "Ignore what that man says", really, is that what you are saying?
It is your job to be informed about what the President believes, and as a leader in our democracy, it is your job to tell us what you think about that.

(9,426 posts)the gop OWNS this orange disaster. They will eventually regret covering for all his ignorance. How do they look their children in the face, and defend the indefensible? Show them their bank accounts? Seems $$$$ is all that matters to these traitors. Ryan must be confident that Gov. Snot Walker has his district gerrymandered to protect his cushy job in DC. He should remember his good buddy Eric Cantor, another arrogant prick, he lost his seat BIGLY.

Both these fuckers need to be wished into the cornfield.
