Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn almost neck-and-neck as Tory lead plummets, new poll finds

THE battle for Downing Street is effectively neck-and-neck, according to a new election poll which shows Theresa May’s lead over her left-wing rival has drastically fallen.

The Survation poll for Good Moning Britain has put the Tories on 41.5 per cent, which is 16 points lower than the party’s position four weeks ago.

Jeremy Corbyn is closing in on 40.4 per cent, while the Lib Dems are on 6 per cent, leaving Ukip behind on a dismal 3 per cent.

THE GUARDIAN thinks May made an error building her campaign about Brexit on the mistaken belief that Corby wouldn't support invoking Article 50, and when he did she didn't have a lot to campaign on.

A few additional survey polls has the Conservatives maybe bouncing back since, tho.

Guess we'll find out tomorrow.
