All I was trying to do was point out who might have recommended Wray to Trump, not to suggest that Wray's representation of Christie or anyone else is a disqualifier.

isn't with Wray, but with what appears to be a compromised executive branch with a foreign power, and until that has been resolved, further appointments by this administration should be put on hold until that is resolved

But he is emphasizing testimony today from the intelligence officials about Trump's attempts to intervene in investigation. Says he will press them hard if they try to use legalize or claim executive privilege. He's is laying out all the lines connecting the dots.
