Denver proposes social marijuana use rules for businesses

DENVER (AP) — Denver has finalized rules for the nation's first licensed pot clubs.

To open, clubs first need neighborhood approval. They can't allow indoor smoking or on-site pot sales.

Denver voters approved recreational marijuana clubs in November. But a state board banned the sale of alcohol at places allowing pot use.

Interested businesses so far have included yoga studios and coffee shops.

1. Reminds me of the regulations in Amsterdam

In Amsterdam, you can buy tobacco, pot, sex, coffee, or alcohol.

You can have coffee or alcohol indoors or outdoors.

You can only have pot and sex indoors.

You can only have tobacco outdoors.

You can have coffee and alcohol at the same time and place, indoors or out.

You can have coffee and pot at the same time and place, but only indoors.

You can have tobacco and alcohol at the same time and place, but only outdoors.

You can't have anything else if you are having sex.

It's like figuring out a chess move if you want to do any three things at the same time and place.

I'm imagining this as sketch comedy where a different crowds of variously intoxicated people who never figure out where to sit.
