Scaramucci: Trump Will Take Action If There's 'Smoking Gun Proof' of Russian Election Interference

Lost in a marathon segment on CNN’s New Day this morning was a remarkably candid assertion from newly appointed White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci regarding the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 General Election.

Quick background…Scaramucci tweeted — then deleted — an assertion that he was asking the FBI to investigate the apparent leak of his financial disclosure, and appeared to cast his eyes at White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus by tagging him in the tweet. This morning he called into for a lengthy interview with co-host Chris Cuomo to clarify his positions on the challenge of leaks from White House staffers, and since Russia Interference is in the news — and perhaps because they were on CNN — the topic came up.

Earlier in the interview Scaramucci mocked CNN for a seeming obsession with this story, telling Cuomo that he wished they could go “five minutes” on CNN without talking about the Russian investigation. But Cuomo pushed back, saying “It’s not that we have some untoward fascination with an investigation,” adding “we do it because it threatens the foundation of the democracy.”

Scaramucci then provided an answer one doesn’t typically here from an often combative and defensive set of the Senior White House advisors one sees on the telly, saying of President Donald Trump “if there’s smoking gun proof, he’ll take action,” then clarified that “he’s looking at the sanctions right now. He may decide to veto the sanctions and be tougher on the Russians than Congress.” That’s a fairly new take we haven’t heard much of from White House advisors.

What puzzled them was why a Russian bank was repeatedly looking up the contact information for mail1.trump-email.com.

Publicly available internet records show that address, which was registered to the Trump Organization, points to an IP address that lives on an otherwise dull machine operated by a company in the tiny rural town of Lititz, Pennsylvania.

From May 4 until September 23, the Russian bank looked up the address to this Trump corporate server 2,820 times -- more lookups than the Trump server received from any other source.

As noted, Alfa Bank alone represents 80% of the lookups, according to these leaked internet records.

GREEN BAY — County websites of the Democratic Party in the area have been under attack, at least one apparently by Russian hackers, an officer of the party said.

What appears to have been Russian hackers compromised the website of the 8th Congressional District Democratic Party as well as the sites of seven county Democratic party organizations, said Mary Ginnebaugh, who chairs the congressional district as well as the Brown County Democratic parties.

Russian hackers have been accused on the national level with interfering with the U.S. presidential election by getting into the Democratic National Committee’s website as well as that of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in Washington.

While no one can prove beyond doubt that Russians also were involved in the local hack job, two hackers left “calling cards” with Russian email addresses on the local websites in an apparent gesture of contempt or braggadocio, Ginnebaugh said. Green Bay police were notified and have forwarded information to the FBI, she said.

were in a real time connection both back and forth many many times. Team Trump very
well might have told their Russian "helpers" states, areas, and even precincts where they
needed "help." And much of the Russian hacked data needed republicans and Trump team
members to weaponize that information. I don't think it was random chance that the
republicans had unceasing and unneeded hearings into Hillary's "crimes" in order to
tie into Trump's "Hillary is a crook" and you just can't trust HRC as Putin's wiki leaks
spread disinformation in order to hurt.

What more evidence does tRUMP need to determine that there was interference in our 2016 elections?

-that is, the evidence that our 17 different US intelligence agencies detected;

-or the British mentioning the hacking (another country's intelligence agencies);

-'pinging' being detected in tRUMP tower (w/ an originating Russian IP address (which you can't get anymore direct proof of Russian interference/contact for some purpose, I guarantee this wasn't for the good of the country, otherwise, why hide it?));

-or the sheer number of times that tRUMP-related associates have met w/ Russian operatives (too many times to be pure coincidence)/or have Russian involvement of some sort in their backgrounds?

-the tRUMP org had declared bankruptcy multiple times...how were they able to continue operating (in addition to ripping off their prior investors (which they did))...where did the money come from?

-via tRUMPs' mob contacts in NYC, tRUMP or associates were put in contact w/ Russian mobsters to help churn/clean their dirty money, in exchange for funds, and access to the US. The Russian mob has been caught operating in the US also;

Any other presidential candidate in US history would have destroyed as a viable candidate if were known they were meeting with reps of one of our country's enemies by their opponents, in the dark (why hide these meetings?);
