Manafort offered to give Russian billionaire private briefings on 2016 campaign

Source: Washington Post

Less than two weeks before Donald Trump accepted the Republican presidential nomination, his campaign chairman offered to provide briefings on the race to a Russian billionaire closely aligned with the Kremlin, according to people familiar with the discussions.

Paul Manafort made the offer in an email to an overseas intermediary, asking that a message be sent to Oleg Deripaska, an aluminum magnate with whom Manafort had done business in the past, these people said.

“If he needs private briefings we can accommodate,” Manafort wrote in the July 7, 2016, email, portions of which were read to The Washington Post along with other Manafort correspondence from that time.

The emails are among tens of thousands of documents that have been turned over to congressional investigators and Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s team as they probe whether Trump associates coordinated with Russia as part of Moscow’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 U.S. election.

The question is, whether it does serious damage to Trump as well.

His advisers are involved with Russia. His children and in-laws are involved with Russia. Everyone around him is involved with Russia. He took Russians into a secret meeting in the Oval Office and told confidential info with Russian photographers! The smoking gun has got to be there.

The only thing that would keep Pauli from testifying against Trump, would be Putin. He's worked for the Russians long enough to see how they deal with problems.

He can't pardon state crimes, and NY's Atty general - who sued Trump University - is working with him.

Also it's likely obstruction of justice/abuse of power, but there's no court ruling because no president has been nearly this criminal so they never had to address it.

They must have indirectly at least, because he worked as advisor for a Russian puppet Ukranian president Yanukovych for 10 years - closely allied with Russia oligarchs who are closely allied with Putin. He helped get him in power.

Supposedly Manafort was only paid 12.5 million for all that work. Doubtful.

He ended up fleing to Russia after all the bribes and Russian connections were discovered by the Ukraine.

Trump is the American Yanukovych

If you want a business deal with Russia, Manafort is your campaign manager.

20. Rybolovlev bought tRump's mansion for $50 million OVER valuation.

https://www.deathandtaxesmag.com/321858/dmitry-rybolovlev-piss-tape-russia-florida-mansion-trump/
(contains links to mainstream sources)

Rybolovlev is a businessman and philanthropist with a net worth of $8.5 billion. In 2008, he paid Trump $95 million for a Palm Beach mansion — nearly $15 million more than the most expensive private property had sold for in the area at the time, and twice as much as Trump had paid for it four years prior. While Trump had invested some in the property, the closing price still represented a $50 million premium on what he had acquired it for. But that’s not the only thing that was out of ordinary about the sale.

This strange purchase is not the only curious thing about Trump’s and Rybolovlev’s relationship. Trump claims to have never met the man — saying the property purchase was negotiated through a broker — but in the last half year, Federal Aviation Administration flight logs have showed Rybolovlev’s plane has landed in cities within an hour or two of Trump arriving there, at least five times. {during the campaign and once after}

As reported by Rachel Maddow, Rybolovlev owns a large share of the Bank of Cyprus. The chairman of the Bank of Cyprus used to be the chairman of the Deutsch Bank. The Deutsch Bank just paid $630 million for a scheme laundering illegal Russian money. After leaving the Deutsch Bank, the chairman was appointed to the Bank of Cyprus by its two largest shareholders. One is a Russian and close friend of Vladimir Putin’s. The other is Wilbur Ross, an old friend of Trump’s, and our country’s newly sworn-in commerce secretary.

If that’s not enough for you, all of this can even be tied back to the alleged piss tape. Palmer Report discovered via Rybolovlev’s flight records that not only has the Russian billionaire been following the president around the country, his travel itinerary also closely aligned with key events and meetings in the MI6 piss dossier. Records show Rybolovlev traveling to West Hampton on August 1, the same time that Michael Cohen, Trump’s longtime lawyer, was in the area, according to geotagged tweets. From there, Rybolovlev traveled to Dubrovnik, Croatia, where Jared and Ivanka Trump were vacationing at the time. He then traveled to Budapest, Hungary, which is only 85 minutes by air to Prague, Czech Republic — the city Cohen swears he’s never visited.

Via Palmer Report:

This could all be one massive coincidence. But it also paints a picture of a two-week span in which 1) Dmitry Rybolovlev meets with Michael Cohen in the Hamptons to arrange or prepare for the Russia blackmail meeting, then 2) Rybolovlev travels to discuss the matter with Donald Trump’s daughter and son-in-law, then 3) Rybolovlev travels to Prague to reunite with Cohen and meet with the Russian envoy.

"People familiar to the discussions" means it's more than one person. Someone closely connected to the campaign's highest echelons.

"Portions of which were read to the Washington Post along with other Manafort correspondence from that time". Wow. Sounds like a treasure trove of Manafort Gold.

This portends more good stuff to come.

says Manafort asked Russians "How do we use this to get whole?" meaning his control of the Trump campaign.
Russians have been paying Manafort 10million a year since 2006 to promote Putin's agenda in the USA. Direct quid pro quo and back-channel to Trump.
How is this not collusion and how is it not espionage?

ALSO: Let's not forget that it was Manafort that brought Pence to Trump.
