Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price has resigned amid mounting outcry over his use of private jets and military aircraft for government business, which was first reported by POLITICO last week.

"Secretary of Health and Human Services Thomas Price offered his resignation earlier today and the President accepted," the White House said in a statement.

Note the amount of the "cut" that he proposed for HHS travel - not far off from what he spent on his own personal dalliances (which have been to date, estimated at upwards of $1,000,000).
