ObamaCare premiums have risen after Trump ended key subsidies to insurers that helped to cover costs for low-income Americans.
Trumps promise to repeal ObamaCare comes as enrollment in the healthcare law has unexpectedly surged since the start of the open enrollment period.
Nearly 2.3 million people signed up for coverage through ObamaCare exchanges during the first 18 days of the open enrollment period outpacing the rate of enrollment that took place during the same time period under former President Obama.

(6,917 posts)Fix healthcare BEFORE tax cuts. If you do well with that, move on to raiding the treasury for your kids and golf partners.
Why is it always tax cuts FIRST, then benefits like jobs?

(10,098 posts)One of the cornerstones of the program were the mandates. Those are eliminated with the upcoming wealth redistribution being called "tax reform" by the ruling class and their corporate media spokespeople. So yeah, they are drowning it in the bathtub with no desire at all to replace it.
