WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — President Donald Trump said the East Coast "could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming" as bitter cold temperatures are expected to freeze large swaths of the country this holiday weekend.

Trump tweeted, "In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year's Eve on record."

He adds that: "Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!"

Such as the Arctic air plunge that happened a few years ago, the polar vortex, which is actually due to the warming of the polar region.

The polar vortex is a wind pattern driven by sharp temperature differences between the polar air and the air in the lower latitudes. The polar region is warming, so there is less of a temperature difference. That makes it weaker and wavier, and more likely to dip southward, bringing extreme cold to the United States.

So yeah, Trump is revealing his utter stupidity, yet again.
