Saudi Arabia tells citizens to leave Lebanon immediately - SPA

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia has ordered its citizens to leave Lebanon "immediately", the state news agency reported in an SMS alert on Wednesday.
"The Saudi Arabian embassy in Lebanon calls all Saudi citizens to leave Lebanon immediately," the alert said, without elaborating.

(305 posts)Saudi Arabia is one of the driving forces in the confrontation with both Syria and Iran. Hezbollah is a proxy for both and has a major presence in Lebanon esp. the Bekkah Valley. This is from my point of view the clearest sign that Israel is going to attack, FUCK FUCK FUCK.

(305 posts)As a member nation, Turkey has a certain obligation to keep Atlantic Command at least aware of any attack, and I follow this pretty close, there has been nothing out of Nato since the shootdown of the Turkish fighter.

The statement by the Saudi Embassy in Beirut was published on the official Saudi news agency Wednesday. It urges its citizens to leave immediately and warns travelers against visiting Lebanon, a popular destination for Gulf residents in the summer.
Armed Shiite clansmen in Lebanon say they have taken 20 Syrians hostages until their relative seized by rebels in Syria is freed. Syria rebels claim to be holding a Lebanese man they accuse of being a member of Hezbollah, the Shiite Lebanese group allied with Syria and Iran.
