White House Bashes New Book On Trump: It's 'Trashy Tabloid Fiction'

The White House was quick to dismiss a new book about President Donald Trumps campaign and presidency on Wednesday after New York Magazine published an excerpt.
This book is filled with false and misleading accounts from individuals who have no access or influence with the White House, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement. Participating in a book that can only be described as trashy tabloid fiction exposes their sad desperate attempts at relevancy.
The excerpt from Michael Wolffs Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House painted a picture of a chaotic campaign and White House run by staffers who were unprepared for their roles and who were constantly battling each other for Trumps attention. The book also alleges that Melania Trump did not want Trump to win the White House and was upset when he won the race.
The first ladys spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, denied that account in a statement.

And they have the chutzpah to call anything else "trashy tabloid fiction"...?????

(9,114 posts)Again. The repugs have managed to top their last abysmal admin. Even worster and stupider than last time.
Abysmally projective. They have to KNOW there are true news sources and fake news sources, in order to get so worked up and mad that their 'real news values' have been offended against, when they're on their high horse against the Times or CNN. And they know their sources have to lie, 100% of the time, about everything.
