Trump lawyer sues BuzzFeed, Fusion GPS for defamation over dossier

Source: The Hill

President Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen is suing BuzzFeed News and Fusion GPS over a dossier that includes unverified allegations linking Trump to Russia, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday.

BuzzFeed News had published the controversial document a year ago, while Fusion GPS was the political research firm behind the dossier.

“It will be proven that I had no involvement in this Russian collusion conspiracy,” Cohen told Bloomberg. “My name was included only because of my proximity to the president.”

Bloomberg noted that Cohen had informed reporters of the lawsuits but that the documents weren’t immediately available on online court dockets.

Discovery requests by Buzzfeed this lawsuit, if there is a lawsuit, ought to be hilarious.

He may want to think twice about trying to sue for defamation...because last I checked, the US President can't sue for that. And if he DOES...well, like a lot of other people have pointed out, the testimony could be hilarious.

"Mr. Trump, did you or did you not hire two prostitutes to urinate on the bed the Obamas slept in? And before you answer, we brought the two prostitutes and they brought the check you paid them with - in part to prove you did, but mostly because it bounced and they want their money, asshole."

Don't have to wait for a trial to put tRump under oath.

Buzzfeed and Fusion need to immediately file counter-claims so that when tRump's case is dismissed, they can continue the case against him.
Let the discovery depositions begin!!!!
