Corsi claims executives from that "Uranium One" were on that plane.

Even though there is no evidence any of them were on it.

lack of compassion? It's not like Putin doesn't have a track record. And, given that track record, how does suspicion equate to an unhealthy Putin fetish? You are an arbiter of... What, exactly? Compassion? That is, at best, a separate issue.

TD45 was crowing that there had been no passenger casualties in 2017 and people replied this was a continued record for several years before him, I didn't realize it just meant "US casualties". I knew there had been deaths, but they were military or crew personnel and not civilian passengers.

Russia’s gazeta.ru website cited unnamed investigators as saying the pilot had reported a technical malfunction and asked for clearance for an emergency landing at the nearby Zhukovsky International airport. Officials have not confirmed the report. Other reports said one of the plane’s engines may have exploded before the crash.

Instruments showing wrong speed may have brought down Russian plane: TASS

Reuters Staff
1 MIN READ

MOSCOW (Reuters) - A plane crash near Moscow on Sunday which killed all 71 people on board could have been caused in part by instruments showing incorrect speed, the TASS news agency quoted investigators as saying on Tuesday.

The instruments could have malfunctioned because sensors had iced over, said the Russia Interstate Aviation Committee, which is investigating the crash.

The AN-148 passenger plane was en route from Moscow to the Russian provincial city of Orsk and was operated by Russia’s Saratov Airlines.
