Biden: Congress has a moral obligation to act against gun violence

Source: The Hill

BY BRETT SAMUELS - 02/15/18 09:00 AM EST

Former Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday morning Congress has “a moral obligation” to take action in the wake of a shooting a Florida high school that left 17 people dead.

“I grieve with the families across the country who have suffered loss due to gun violence. Congress has a moral obligation to take action and spare more families from this violence,” Biden tweeted.

Nikolas Cruz, 19, was charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder Thursday morning after authorities said he opened fire in Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, killing 17 people and injuring more than a dozen others.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported that the AR-15 used allegedly used in the shooting was legally purchased by Cruz, who had been kicked out of the school and flagged as a threat.

There is only money. Talk to GOPers about how much money they'll get for a vote, and you have active listeners.

After the latest school shooting in your state, how does that $3,000,000 you received from the NRA feel now? Right now?

Their only "moral" code is "how much money do I get out of it. Campaigns are expensive, you know"

for 76 yrs, from when I was proud of the USA, and the world looked to us.
Now I'm sorry I volunteered time of my life in the service(Navy) for this dumb population that still continues to sink in their own shit and doesn't
even realize it!
