Reps. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) and Ann Wagner (R-Mo.) are being encouraged to launch Senate bids after initially passing on those races, while Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) is hearing calls to put off his retirement and run for reelection.

The last-minute maneuvering suggests the GOP primary fields may not be settled just eight months before the November midterm elections and highlights an increasing nervousness among Republicans that their Senate majority — once seen as nearly invincible — may be at risk.

“You want to put your best team on the field when you are competing in what could be a potentially challenging election cycle,” said GOP strategist Ryan Williams. “I think the fact that there’s an effort to coax some people into reconsidering shows a degree of concern over the current crop of candidates.”

But the GOP has a huge advantage when it comes to the Senate map. Democrats are defending more than two-dozen seats, including 10 in states that President Trump won in 2016. The GOP is defending just eight seats......................................................

Down here in Georgia if you get away from Atlanta like halfway between Macon & the Georgia/Florida border where massive confederate battle flags fly on 100ft poles along I-75 & almost every cow pasture has huge wooden Trump sign or Trump-Pence sign in it...Trump is on par with Jesus!!!

It is so mind blowing!

I swear 10-15yrs ago if you would’ve went down to the rural part of Georgia I’m talking about & attended one of their county board meetings & told the packed house of 11 people that they would all be...PROUDLY voting for a Draft dodger with 5 deferments from Vietnam who has belittled US POWs by saying they could not be heroes because they got caught, he has been married 3 times & has cheated on all 3 wives, refuses to say anything negative about Russia, constantly compliments Vladimir Putin & his campaign manager has worked for the ousted Pro-Putin Ukrainian leader & has ties to the Russian mob & most of all this guy is from NEW YORK CITY!!!

...There would’ve been a very good chance you would’ve been shot!!! …But here we are!!

8. Sort of makes you wonder -

What happened in those 10-15 years to sway so many minds? Let me answer, Obama. Electing a black man - an intelligent, competent, family oriented man with nothing but the best interests in improving the lot of Americans -scared the shit out of them. If one was elected, what about the future. Then the horror of it - a possible woman president!! Too much - all too much.
In other words, the pendulum swung in the opposite direction - and here we are.

How freakin sad is that!?! I get so mad just thinking about what could’ve been if the GOP would’ve given Obama & the office he held the same respect the Democrats gave Reagan!

And now watching TRUMP take a wrecking ball to everything Obama had to work his ass off to accomplish & all the people it is going to hurt in the long run...It just sucks!

14. Pence's brother is running for the Senate

I think here in Indiana. I have seen 2-3 commercials touting his claim to fame being Pence's brother and says he follows Trump's guidelines. He also says he is the guy for Veterans to send to Washington to fight for them. He seems to think he will ride on Pence and Trump's coattails into Washington. Wonder when he will find out everyone here hates them.
