Corporations cannot attack conservatives and expect us not to fight back.

Georgias lieutenant governor said on Monday he would work to derail a multimillion-dollar tax cut that would benefit Delta Air Lines unless the company reinstated its relationship with the National Rifle Association.
Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, who also serves as president of the Georgia state Senate, intimated in a tweet he would kill any tax legislation as punishment to Delta, which last week said it would end its discount program for members of the NRA. The company is one of more than a dozen that have distanced themselves from the gun lobby following the massacre of 17 people at a Florida high school on Feb. 14.
Corporations cannot attack conservatives and expect us not to fight back, Cagle, a leading Republican candidate to replace Gov. Nathan Deal, wrote on Monday.
. . .
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Monday that Delta had been attempting to downplay the political motivations behind its decision, saying it was a supporter of the Second Amendment and that the company held a neutral stance on gun control measures. The company noted a separate instance in which it had withdrawn support over a politically and emotionally charged issue after it ended its sponsorship of a staging of Julius Caesar, which depicted the assassination of a Donald Trump-like character.

(15,290 posts)Pittsburgh Intl Airport lost USAIR as it began shutting its operations down and moving them to TX a few years ago. There's been a lot of discussion about what to do with all the excess capacity/gates/runways. If I'm the Allegheney Co executive, I'm on the phone tomorrow to talk Delta into moving its hub up north.

(16,457 posts)Three international flights in 3 years and every damn one of them was marred by broken belts, workers who dont give a fuck about the job theyre paid to do etc. that Ive had this experience in limited exposure tells me its probably a major, likely daily problem. Ive had four hour layovers following international flights that have ended with me barely making my connection at hartsfield.

Delta Air Lines serves more than 180 million customers each year. In 2017, Delta was named to Fortune's top 50 Most Admired Companies in addition to being named the most admired airline for the sixth time in seven years.
They'll squash this idjit like a bug. A very small bug.
