New York regulator asked three banks on their relationships with Jared Kushner

Source: CNBC

New York's state banking regulator asked Deutsche Bank and two other lenders for information on their relationships with U.S. President Donald Trump's son-in-law and White House senior adviser Jared Kushner and his family's real estate company, a person familiar with the matter told Reuters.

The New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) made the requests to Deutsche Bank, Signature Bank and New York Community Bank for information on loans and other financial arrangements including lines of credit and loan guarantees a week ago, the person said.

The regulator also asked for information related to other family members, the person said.

Christine Taylor, a spokeswoman for Kushner Cos, said the company had not received a copy of any letter from the regulator. She described Kushner Cos as a "multibillion enterprise that is extremely financially strong."

If the state of NY prosecuted Jared for any banking crimes, DT wouldn't be able to pardon him.

You really cannot make this stuff up.

Jered Kushner’s Felon Father, Charles, is Back at Helm of The New York Kushner Empire With Two Fellow Inmates placed in key positions.

White coloar jail, where criminal minds can meet.

“It can’t hurt to be doing business with Jared Kushner’s family. It’s a road to the administration.”

It’s hard to find work right out of prison.

But Avram Lebor and Richard Goettlich walked from their Alabama penitentiary into top jobs at the real estate company then run by Jared Kushner, now President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser.

The two men, convicted in separate sprawling fraud schemes, were hired several years ago by his father, Charles Kushner, who had been locked up in the same federal prison with them.

As 36-year-old Jared Kushner settles into a White House role that includes personnel decisions and Middle East peace, the most extensive organizational experience he has to draw from is his lifetime at the closely held family real estate company, where his father is once again deeply involved.

It’s a business where, like Trump’s, family and loyalty loom large. Management at Kushner Cos. has been mercurial, its feuds bruising and its political influence considerable.

Recent joint ventures and investments expanded by Jared could lead to opportunities for unseen influence. Given the company’s history, ethics lawyers say, such opportunities merit close watching.

New York Prosecutors are world class and love to make mincemeat out of arrogant financial criminals. Kushner has probably used his position to enrich himself and his businesses. High Financial Crimes and Misdemeanors. I would love to see Kushner go to jail.

I think that they will build a case against Kushner first and then use it to leverage a bigger case against Trump afterwards. Prosecutors tend to go after Junior Cronies (Kushner) before going after the Kingpin (Trump).

No wonder that Trump considered an investigation of his finances a "red line". He is probably hiding some very shady deals and possible criminal activity, Russian Bank payoffs? Trump is the first modern President not to release his Taxes and Financial details. What is he hiding?

He is a fool to think he could get away with this sort of stuff. I hope they nail him to the wall, and make him regret that he ever thought about being President.
