White House: Russia to blame for U.K. nerve agent attack on ex-spy

Source: Axios

Haley Britzky 13 mins ago

The White House released a statement on Wednesday supporting the U.K.'s expulsion of 23 Russian diplomats earlier in the day over the poisoning of Russian ex-spy Sergei Skripal in the English town on Salisbury.

"The United States shares the United Kingdom’s assessment that Russia is responsible for the reckless nerve agent attack on a British citizen and his daughter, and we support the United Kingdom’s decision to expel Russian diplomats as a just response."

— Press Secretary Sarah Sanders

The backdrop: Theresa May's announcement was a major escalation in Russia-U.K. relations, and President Trump said on Tuesday that the U.S. would condemn Russia "[a]s soon as we get the facts straight, if we agree with them." Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley took a strong stance against Russia on Wednesday.

But my last post of this topic was quickly censored because they said I was peddling right wing talking point. And that right wing talking point was to question the people who lied us into war about this new Russian allegation that might lead us into war.

Wake up people there is something not right about these stories. I am sure you all believe Putin is evil but doesn't it also follow that he is also stupid? when the people who sold you the Iraq WMD lie comes with a new story that is too convenient to believe, better start asking question.

It doesn't make you right wing to ask questions. Believing the CIA and FBI without question is right wing.

Again, wake up.

Why is Trump not imposing sanctions and also expelling diplomats in support of Americas greatest ally?

If it walks like a duck...and this duck has quacked before.

Maybe Trump will seize more Russian diplomatic building, maybe expel more diplomats, kill more Russians in Syria or strike Russia ally in Syria again. Give the russophobe in the WH some time, he will surely try to sneak something in. Which the media will completely ignore in order to continue peddling this silly conspiracy theory.

Some days I wake up and pray that this whole Russia nonsense has been a big joke on me. But it seems like it will continue to get worse until war breaks out which luckily most of you old members won't be fighting.

13. Then why won't trump implement sanctions

Congress passed against them? Why has he done nothing to Russia for ignoring the NK sanctions, and even have been supplying them with components for their missile program? Trump knows from being told, still does nothing against them, or says nothing bad against them or Putin. Trump is weak on Russia. That should be a Democrat rally cry, and something he can't simply denounce or attack. He is weak on Putin.
