Ryan after Trump attacks: Let Mueller do his job

Source: The Hill

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said on Sunday that President Trump should let special counsel Robert Mueller carry out his investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

“As the Speaker has always said, Mr. Mueller and his team should be able to do their job,” AshLee Strong, a spokeswoman for Ryan, said in a statement issued Sunday.

She did not comment on whether Congress should take up legislation to protect Mueller, CNN reported.

Ryan joins a number of key Republicans that have warned Trump not to interfere with Mueller’s investigation.

And here's hoping that Mueller's job includes sending you to prison, you spineless Eddie Munster impersonator, after sending the Shitgibbon there.

Ryan here tacitly acknowledges it's Trump's call, and Ryan is ambivalent at best, which mean Trump goes it alone with a moderate amount of blowback from GOP Congress.

This is no defense of Mueller at all. It's just smoke and mirrors.

They all know that if shit gibbon does an Archibald Cox on Mueller, the bloodbath in Nov. will be biblical in its scope and size.

Are hurting their mid term chances , and will create a bigger wave ousting Republicans. They should protect Mueller before he tries this, or they'll suffer more at the ballot box next Nov. . The American people hearing silence now from them will backfire even more on them. The longer this goes on not knowing, the greater chances the House and the Senate will turn over to the Dems. Or do they have NDA's too to him?
