‘Fame & fortune will NEVER be turned down’: Trump boasts ‘top law firms want to represent me in the Russia case’

TOM BOGGIONI
25 MAR 2018 AT 08:20 ET

President Donald Trump kept up his Twitter frenzy on Sunday morning after remaining mostly silent on Saturday, saying there are many lawyers who would love to represent him as he faces scrutiny by special counsel Robert Mueller.

According to the president, his wealth and “fame” are a major incentive for lawyers to want to take up his case, as he also complained about being billed for their services.

Writing on Twitter, over two tweets, Trump explained, “Many lawyers and top law firms want to represent me in the Russia case…don’t believe the Fake News narrative that it is hard to find a lawyer who wants to take this on. Fame & fortune will NEVER be turned down by a lawyer, though some are conflicted. Problem is that a new ….lawyer or law firm will take months to get up to speed (if for no other reason than they can bill more), which is unfair to our great country – and I am very happy with my existing team. Besides, there was NO COLLUSION with Russia, except by Crooked Hillary and the Dems!”

UPDATE:

Trump ignores massive march on guns to go on Twitter rant about building wall to keep out ISIS ‘enemy combatants’

TOM BOGGIONI
25 MAR 2018 AT 06:57 ET

President Donald Trump was up early Sunday morning and used his first tweets of the day to rant about building his border wall to keep out ISIS “enemy combatants,” as he ignored the massive #MarchForOurLives that electrified the country on Saturday.

Using the recent attack in France as a jumping off point, Trump tweeted: “France honors a great hero. Officer died after bravely swapping places with hostage in ISIS related terror attack. So much bravery around the world constantly fighting radical Islamic terrorism. Even stronger measures needed, especially at borders!”

He then turned to building his wall, writing, “enemy combatants pouring into our Country.”

You can see his tweets below:

thus automatically be considered to be a greedy attention-seeker, right?

Like Robert Mueller or Preet Bharara or Eric Schneiderman or Adam Schiff - they’re all lawyers, right? - if any of them signed on to work with dumbass, then they would be looked at by him as greedy, attention-seeking people, right?

Haw haw, did he just piss off a whole passel of attorneys who might have been thinking about working with him? Well, I can only hope so!

On edit, WAIT!!!

”lawyer or law firm will take months to get up to speed (if for no other reason than they can bill more)”

Holy frickin frick!! They are greedy, attention-seeking, LYING mofos who have no conscience and will take all your cash, baby!!

or one they know to be actively engaged in criminal activity.

lawyers may like money, they may like fame, but they also like their freedom and their careers. And they disdain infamy.

trump can't get good lawyers because he is doing all of that. any lawyer representing him could go to jail because he just doesn't have any self control and won't take counsel..

1) Ironic that Trump would praise the French policeman who was killed. Trump said he would have run into Stoneman Douglas to save people. Talk is cheap, but here we have a REAL man who did just about the same thing, and in the real world-not just in his imagination. Trump is an Orange pathetic blob in comparison.

2) The first thing any lawyer tells a client is to shut up. If there is zero probability that your client will do that, why take the case? That’s why Trump gets clumsy idiots for lawyers. Any fool could have handled the Stormy situation better than Trump’s people did. Pay her more, use envelopes of cash, no NDA (which created more problems than it solved), no Delaware corporation, and all is well. If they had to give her 2 or 3 times what they did, they’d have stolen that back from the country in short order anyway. Lord these people are clumsy.......
