President Donald Trump on Wednesday applied pressure on Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) to vote for Trumps nominee to become the next secretary of state, current CIA Director Mike Pompeo. Paul is the only Republican senator to publicly oppose Pompeos nomination. Sen Jeff Flake (R-AZ) on Tuesday said he was still waiting for some information from him.
I will say this about Rand Paul, Trump told reporters at his private club, Mar-a-Lago, with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe sitting across from him. Hes never let me down. Rand Paul is a very special guy, as far as Im concerned. Hes never let me down, and I dont think hell let us down again. So lets see what happens.

(6,212 posts)do the repubs fall for trumps tactic of praising them to get his way. He probably mocks Paul in private calling him names the way he does every one else.

and other proof of this alleged trip to N Korea? Just can't believe any of them bc they never admitted to anything, and they continue to lie everyday. Believe anything at your peril.
Analysis..What's in it for dt? End of analysis.
Where's Jared? Thought all this was going to be taken care of..like yesterday with the boy wonder? If he got Middle East Peace...why are we shooting missiles there. It's all smoke and mirrors.
edit...Kim just went to China for marching orders re: "denuclearization rhetoric" Where was Pompeo when that was happening? I wouldn't put it past him to have "met" w him in China...if at all. Seems like there'd be a parade or something.

(11,885 posts)And any Republican or Democrat voting for this guy should be run out of office. He's another yes man who serves trump over the people , and this country. Paul should know this, so if he and others vote for him to get this position they need to go, all of them.
