Source: Tennessean
James Shaw Jr. cried at least four times Sunday after a tragic morning where he wrestled a gun away from a shooter at an Antioch Waffle House
The shooting left four dead and injured numerous others.

(44,974 posts)Gunman stopped to reload. If he managed to reload, presumably he would have continued shooting, and James was very close to the gunman. So he would likely have been the next victim.

(51 posts)Now we learn the gunman had his guns taken away last year after he tried to get into the White House. The police took away his guns but later gave them to his father, who in turn gave them back to his son. WTF.
I'd love to see how the NRA spins this one. Maybe they should hire Kellyanne to provide us with some alternative facts to explain this colossal and deadly screwup.
