California Gov. Jerry Brown (D) took a swipe at Vice President Mike Pence Tuesday after he was told Pence criticized the ongoing issues at the U.S.-Mexico border in California.

The vice president was in the Golden State on Tuesday touring a border fence construction project and said that open border advocates were exploiting migrants in the caravan at the border.

"The vice president said [Monday] that the border is a problem in that particular area for the whole country," a reporter said to Brown.

Brown replied, "I think Pence is a problem for the whole country.".................................
