Wikileaks' Assange reportedly offers to show Schiff 'there was no collusion'

Source: The Hill

BY LUIS SANCHEZ - 05/26/18 09:48 AM EDT

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is willing to meet with Democratic ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff (Calif.) to prove there was "no collusion," according to an intermediary who spoke with MSNBC.

New York radio personality Randy Credico told MSNBC’s Ari Melber on Friday that Assange told him he is willing to be interviewed by Schiff to prove there was no collusion in the 2016 presidential election.

“He’s ready to show that there was no collusion...he’s willing to sit with Schiff and be interviewed,” Credico said. Credico said Assange wants to talk to Schiff because “he can clear it all up.”

Schiff reportedly said that he would talk to Assange but only if he were in U.S. custody. Assange is currently residing in the Embassy of Ecuador in London to avoid arrest and possible extradition to the U.S. on allegations of espionage.

Assange KNOWS where all of the bodies are buried.

But, I wonder why he's scared and willing to LIE about showing that there's no collusion? 🤔

From 2017:

Arresting Julian Assange is a priority, says US attorney general Jeff Sessions
Justice department ‘stepping up’ efforts to prosecute WikiLeaks founder as CNN reports that charges have been drawn up.

The arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is now a “priority” for the US, the attorney general, Jeff Sessions, has said.

Hours later it was reported by CNN that authorities have prepared charges against Assange, who is currently holed up at the Ecuadorian embassy in London.

Donald Trump lavished praise on the anti-secrecy website during the presidential election campaign – “I love WikiLeaks,” he once told a rally – but his administration has struck a different tone.

Asked whether it was a priority for the justice department to arrest Assange “once and for all”, Sessions told a press conference in El Paso, Texas, on Thursday: “We are going to step up our effort and already are stepping up our efforts on all leaks. This is a matter that’s gone beyond anything I’m aware of. We have professionals that have been in the security business of the United States for many years that are shocked by the number of leaks and some of them are quite serious.”

What does Assange mean by "no collusion"?

It sounds an awful lot like Drumpf's own phrase, hence serving a particular agenda. No collusion between which parties, toward what end?

If Assange was most concerned about clearing Wikileaks' and his own names and reputations, I would think that he would phrase it as "Wikileaks acted independently of Russia and the Trump campaign."

https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2018/05/roger-stone-to-associate-prepare-to-die/

In a text message to Mother Jones, Stone did not dispute sending this particular message to Credico. But he maintains he was not making a threat and contends that Credico is citing his words out of context. “He told me he had terminal prostate cancer,” Stone writes. “It was sent in response to that. We talked about it too. He was depressed about it. Or he was lying?” (In other messages provided by Credico, Stone appears to have said he was not threatening him.)

Credico says he does not have prostate cancer and did not have such a discussion with Stone. Referring to the “prepare to die” message from Stone, Credico insists, “That was a threat.

A guy locked up in an Embassy in Great Britain know more than a team of freely moving government investigators with subpoena power.

Assange probably has an e-mail from Michael Cohen stating that Trump told him there was no collusion.

Or that Trump himself, never colluded with Russia. That it was all initiated from Russia. Trump was just stupid enough to say things like "Russia, if you're listening, If you have Hillary's emails..." and invite Russian spys into the oval office and a lot of other stupid things and tweets. But that could just be arrogance and hubris to make 'libtards' upset.

Because Putin saw an opportunity that he couldn't refuse. Putin may have done a lot of Trumps dirty work for him, without being asked to directly. They offered dirt. They used Facebook and social media to attack Hillary. It was in their best interest for a compromised puppet like Trump to be in the White House, and for a Russia antagonist like Hillary to stay out. That was enough of a payout for Putin.

And that's why Trump was insisting that they limit the scope to 'collusion' and not delve deeper into his crooked businesses where I'm sure they would find rot.

I just think we have to prepare ourselves for Mueller coming to a conclusion we don't like. We must have a plan B, otherwise Trump ain't going nowhere. We'll have him for another 6 years.

But the message must be weighed towards what the GOP are doing, with Trump being a part of the GOP. Right now he is separated, like some maverik President doing his own thing. When he is doing exactly what the greater GOP salivated for. The tax cuts to themselves and their donors, destroying the EPA, public education, and everything Obama accomplished. Next greater tax cut giveaways, and the destruction of SS and the final of the thousand knives to crumble Obamacare.

Its no wonder the GOP love their Trumpster and are not in a hurry to see him go. He is the perfect foil for their dirty deeds. They don't care if they themselves are rated even less than the President. They are gettin stuff done.....for their own bank accounts. Whatever good results when Trump is in office, like a recovering economy primed by Obama's initiatives, or some new peace deal with N and S Korea, will be lauded onto Trump. Any bad effects like higher food and goods prices because of his trade wars will be blamed on the detested Congress, INCLUDING the Democrats in there.

Trump called for Russia to "get her emails." His son called him right after a conspiracy meeting. He helped cover up the meeting by dictating that letter on AF1.

Plus the whole protecting the enterprise by firing Comey, discrediting Clinton, and so on.

He can insist whatever he wants, but Mueller is clearly not obeying.

Think about it, Trump is constantly babbling "no collusion, no collusion." Trump would love it if Assange publicly told Schiff there was no collusion. He'd never shut up about it.

And Assange is facing getting tossed from the embassy, so he's desperate. But Trump is hyper-transactional. He does quid pro quo like breathing. So throw Trump his talking point, and pray for a pardon -- which Trump has already given outside of the normal pardon process (Arpaio) to send messages to his co-conspirators/minions.

He's in the embassy still because he's afraid of being extradited to the US on conspiracy, theft, and violations of the Espionage Act. Originally he was fleeing a sexual assault warrant from Sweden (and the prospect of later being extradited to the US), but Sweden has since given up their investigation.

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure POTUS can pardon any federal crime, whether the perp is a citizen or foreigner.

Perhaps AUS has an active criminal case against Assange also, but I haven't been following that.

He will serve no time for jumping bail because he will argue his self imposed imprisonment is enough punishment.

He will walk free.

Ny vowed to reopen prosecution — but only if Assange shows up in Sweden before 2020, when the statue of limitations runs out on the case.

Enough of this shit already!
