Jesse Duplantis, a televangelist with viewers across the globe, says God told him he needs a new jet.
Specifically, God told Duplantis he needs a Dassault Falcon 7X, a three-engine private jet capable of carrying 12 to 16 passengers at speeds up to 700 miles per hour. The Falcon 7X, which would be the fourth plane owned by Jesse Duplantis Ministries, has a range of almost 6,000 miles and costs about $54 million new, according to SherpaReport (although used ones are listed online for as little as $20 million).
"Now, some people believe that preachers shouldn't have jets," Duplantis said in a video posted last week. "I really believe that preachers ought to ... have every available outlet to get this Gospel preached to the world."
In fact, Duplantis said that "if Jesus was physically on the Earth today, he wouldn't be riding a donkey."

God also told Duplantis he should buy himself a fringed jacket.

(9,897 posts)He said I should make sure that cocksniff pilots his own plane and crashes into a large stationary object like a mountain ASAP to "prove" how blessed that man is...really, I'm serious...it was 'god'....I wouldn't make that up out of whole cloth to disguise my real feelings or intent...no way!

(1,607 posts)HOW on earth could evangelicals and others such professors of faith line up en masse, vote for, and continue to support a CON MAN like DJT?
These picture--especially the middle one--reveal a truth: in short, they are enraptured by dramatization, sensationalization, and hyperbolization. These types are "wired" to cognitively shut down, melt like snowflakes, and FOLLOW uncritically whoever or whatever enraptures them with bullshit, so long as it is dramatized.

Judas got 30 pieces of silver, but just once, for selling Christ.
Pat Robertson, Jim Bakker and their ilk get millions of dollars repeatedly for selling Christ.
Judas was a fool for doing a one-time sale.

All the old-time humble preachers of my youth are doing flips in their graves. They made do with salaries so low the churches had to hold occasional "poundings", or gifts of food from congregations just to get by....that and good old country cooking dinners most Sundays!

But to give the Devil his due, hey, good gag, Satan.

(28,094 posts)Well, that's probably true. Maybe he'd be driving a Prius, but a used one. And for overseas trips, maybe flying coach on a cheap commercial airline. (And if you were flying Allegiant and saw Jesus in the waiting area, you could probably assume that the flight would make it.)

Conspiracy theories: Moses went to get the 10 commandments and came back with white hair - radiation poisoning from space craft. If true then I am sure Jesus could definitely thumb a ride from space crafts........................
No disrespect to believers I am just a huge conspiracy theory follower.

(9,685 posts)He needs to take a look at his lifestyle, open that book he likes to thump, shake all those greenbacks out of it, then toss them aside. From my point of view, he's looking at the gates of Hell as it is, not another airplane. All the wealth he could ever need is in that book, countless others and the secular world of man and nature around him. The only one more blind than himself are the poor souls he continues to fleece.
