President Trump said in a new interview that evangelical Christians have been more appreciative than Jews of his decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.
Trump indicated to Mike Huckabee on the former GOP governors TBN show, a Christian network, that he was surprised that more Jewish people werent more appreciative about the embassy move.
I tell you what, I get more calls of thank you from evangelicals, and I see it in the audiences and everything else, than I do from Jewish people, Trump said. And the Jewish people appreciate it but the evangelicals appreciate it more than the Jews.
Its not a surprise though Mr. President, because evangelicals are people of the book, Huckabee replied. And they believe you kept a promise, were fulfilling really a 3,000-year old commitment to recognize Jerusalem as the capital.

Honestly SHS was doomed having this ignorant man as her father.

(155 posts)of our country/civilization- How can we advance toward the betterment and sustainability of all people when the most powerful nation has been hijacked by crazy-eyed dooms (dayers)? How is rational discussion possible with millions of evangelicals whose whole plan in life is to foment chaos and ignite fires as a tool to bring about a prophetical new kingdom?
This sociopathic worldview is so detached from reality, but the notion that it is be to respected and tolerated by the rest of us is too ingrained in human, religious thought. Moving ancient, biblically prophesied cities within a country to help god fulfill their scriptures is not only fallacious, but reveals the impotence of their so-called faith.

He doesn't know or care. If a Trump ass is there, a Huckabee family member is puckering up to smooch.

Funny thing is 'the rapture' wasn't part of Christian doctrine till John Nelson Darby invented it in the 19th century.

(50,557 posts)i seem to remember a few very important Bible passages.
The most obvious is the parable of the sheep and the goats, where Jesus sent all the fundamentalists to hell for being total choads.
The other is very short: not everyone who says lord, lord to me will enter the kingdom of heaven.
