A massive group of House Democratstotaling at least 70 members in allsigned onto the establishment of a Medicare for All caucus Thursday morning, signaling the increasing feasibility of the policy among members.
The caucus, co-chaired by Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) and Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI), is intended to help build the evidence base for a Medicare for All proposal, Jayapal said at a press conference announcing the formation of the group.
Our goal is to sponsor briefings in this caucus on a variety of topics from the basics of Medicare for All to financing to universal health care systems around the world, Jayapal continued.

(6,699 posts)The repuKKKes and fox bull shit are only going to turn that into "Democrats want to open the door and let everybody in" line. It's already there. NO defense...just a talking bullet that's going to scare the shit out of the empty head audience and voters.
It's complex...NOT worth bringing up now. We can put ICE under control once we gain the House..but let's not shoot ourselves in the foot by turning voters away from a Democratic wave in November.
