(6,110 posts)but if the body found is from some one else,
it could mean Mollie is still alive. So only 1 dead.

And her boyfriend and boyfriend's brother were not suspects (bf was out of town).
Sad. I wonder what happened? I guess we will hear more later on this.

(6,110 posts)she is throwing out a caution to avoid jogging alone, if that is possible. You may be quite right about crime may be actually down compared to before, but there is nothing wrong in suggestion to avoid jogging alone, especially in deserted areas.
Absolutely we can never blame the victim, the blame is 100% on the perpetrator. So just avoid giving the perp opportunity to do their dastardly deed.

(8,311 posts)I realize you're saying "That's what we've come to", but if any gender has demonstrated that a curfew/being supervised would cut crime, it's men who we should be suggesting stay inside, not women.
I refuse to lock myself up in my home for fear of death -- how would I really be living if I did so?
And truthfully, crime is down compared to the 70s and 80s when we kids roamed free-range and only the biggest stories hit the news. Now we hear about every crime. So yeah, I'm still going to jog even though I can't find someone to jog with me. And I'm far more likely to need to dodge traffic than assailants.
