Nike On-Line Sales Jumped 31% After Company Unveiled Kaepernick Campaign

Talk of Nike Inc. sales taking a hit from the companys decision to put exNFL player Colin Kaepernick at the center of its latest Just Do It campaign is looking overblown, based on data from a Silicon Valley digital commerce research company.
After an initial dip immediately after the news broke, Nikes NKE, +2.13% online sales actually grew 31% from the Sunday of Labor Day weekend through Tuesday, as compared with a 17% gain recorded for the same period of 2017, according to San Franciscobased Edison Trends.

And
They got the Anti-Trumpers to go out in droves and purchase their products just to stick it to the MAGAts.
The board at Nike doesn't give a fuck why Colin Kaepernick takes a knee. They aren't lauding his stand or his principles. They see Colin Kaepernick as nothing more than the attractive mascot of an "edgy" ad campaign.
Once the sympathy sales have died down and the scandal has fallen away from the media, Nike will recruit some outspoken Christian, conservative athlete for their new ad campaign and turn the red hatted morons back into enthusiastic consumers of Nike shit.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
