The Securities and Exchange Commission has opened a case against Tesla Inc. Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk, according to a docket entry in Manhattan federal court, Bloomberg News reports.

9. Elon definitely fucked up.

He tweeted last month that he had funding secured to take Tesla private at $420(pot reference!) Per share. This was a huge exaggeration and more likely an outright lie meant to hurt the shortsellers. I know someone who knows him and that person claims he was tripping on acid at the time and set the tweet out quite impetuously! Pure rumor, but the 420 does seem non-random and the whole thing was half baked.
