Clinton to campaign for Pritzker in Illinois

..................early voting began in a state Clinton won by 16 points.

Clinton, a Chicago-area native, is to join Pritzker in hosting a late afternoon roundtable with at-risk, high school-aged women, according to Pritzker’s campaign.

The visit comes as Clinton is stepping up her midterm election involvement nationally, joining the Democratic National Committee to host fundraisers in the San Francisco area and scheduling campaign stops in Florida later this month to benefit Democratic gubernatorial contender Andrew Gillum.

Clinton’s help comes after Obama last month appeared with Pritzker in Downstate Champaign after he delivered a scathing rebuke of President Donald Trump in a speech at the University of Illinois.


A recent poll shows Pritzker leading incumbent Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner by 17 points..............................

I see him at many events. He has tapped me a couple of times for photos. He must like old lady activists who wear hats.

Our Senator Durbin is very accessible to ordinary people. Pritzker seems to be the same way.

I have received a reply that actually talks about the subject I had brought up. It is definitely not a form letter. That is appreciated and shows he has a thoughtful and competent staff that listens to constituents..

8. I like Durbin's staff.

He always has new young staffers and he trains them well. There are just as many young women as men. He lives right in Springfield, in the thick of things.

My rep is equally horrid: Kitzinger! Sara Dady is running against him. She is a wonderful candidate, running a great campaign.
