Republican candidate Marc Molinaro says he's embarrassed Proud Boys founder invited to speak
Source: New York Daily News
ALBANY GOP gubernatorial candidate Marc Molinaro on Tuesday said he is a bit ashamed that a Manhattan Republican Club invited the head of the ultranational right wing group The Proud Boys to speak over the weekend.
Im embarrassed these individuals were invited to speak, Molinaro said during a 90-minute appearance before the Daily News Editorial Board.
Molinarowho along with other top Republicans were criticized by Gov. Cuomo for remaining silent on the issue also expressed regret that he didnt speak out sooner, saying he didnt realize just what the Proud Boys were and that his role as the top of the state Republican ticket cried out for him to say something.
He initially blasted radical leftists for vandalizing the GOP clubhouse prior to the appearance of Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes without knowing all the facts about the group he represented.

He won't beat Cuomo, but it's nice to see a republican with a more realistic outlook on governing than we see in trump and all his hateful followers.

She became very popular and was re-elected in a landslide in 2006. When she retired in 2010, she said the proudest moment of her tenure as governor was when she signed the law legalizing same sex marriage.

Okay, so you're embarrassed. Now what? Now nothing. You're going to do nothing. You're going to say nothing more. You'll tacitly accept the endorsement of white supremacists/fascists/domestic terrorists. And you'll say thank you.
You don't know who these animals are? Bull. Look at the photos. Do a google search. If you and your staff are unable to figure this out, you have no right to run for governor.
You and your fellow republicans are spineless. You don't have the guts to speak up. You don't have the guts to draw the proverbial line in the sand.
