3 more Proud Boys members arrested for violent NYC brawl

NEW YORK — Three more members of the far-right group known as the Proud Boys were arrested and charged on Monday, more than a week after a violent brawl on the streets of Manhattan. The New York Police Department had already arrested two other Proud Boy members in connection to the melee.

Police arrested Irvin Antillon, 41, of Queens, New York, and Douglas Lennan, 40, of Northport, New York, on charges of riot and assault, the NYPD said Monday. A third man, Maxwell Hare, 26, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has been charged with gang assault, assault, riot and criminal possession of a weapon.

John Kinsman, 39, was arrested Friday morning. He was charged with attempted gang assault, attempted assault, riot and criminal possession of a weapon. At his arraignment, prosecutors called Kinsman the "single most vicious" member of Proud Boys, the New York Post reported.

The NYPD said it had been seeking the arrest of up to nine Proud Boys in connection to the brawl after McInnes' speech at the Metropolitan Republican Club on Oct. 12. Geoffrey Young, 38, was arrested Thursday.

Garvin McInnes according to this in depth SPLC article. They've appeared at rallies in Anaheim and Sacramento with RAM, the Rise Above Mvmt. and were also present in Charlottesville. They're focused on general hate of anything non-white, and are nasty goons.

A group of like-minded men at Compound Media — who bonded over their shared frustration with PC culture — began to meet in New York City dive bars. From these gatherings, the Proud Boys were born, and McInnes officially introduced the group in Taki’s in September 2016. There are three degrees of membership within the Proud Boys, and to become a first degree in the “pro-West fraternal organization” a prospective member simply has to declare “I am a western chauvinist, and I refuse to apologize for creating the modern world.”

15. I personally faced them in June 2017 in San Diego

at a peaceful Impeach tRump rally when they tried to incite violence for over an hour. The local sheriffs just stood there and watched until a guest speaker and former councilman called the chief of police and told her to call the sheriffs to get them to do their fucking job and stop being spectators. We didn't fight them and fall for their taunts. In fact, I smiled and made the peace sign instead of yelling insults and giving them the finger. They did not like that one bit.
