GOP campaigns asked Trump to steer clear of Nevada and Arizona

Source: CNN

As President Trump kicks off an 11-rally tour in the final six days of the midterm election campaign, he is focused on expanding Republican control of the Senate — without jeopardizing it.

He will pay two visits to Florida, Missouri and Indiana, all home of key Senate races, in addition to stops in Montana, West Virginia and Tennessee. (He also visits Ohio and Georgia.)

But two states noticeably absent from his itinerary: Arizona and Nevada, which are among the most competitive races and the best chance for Democrats to pick up GOP-held Senate seats (as our new CNN polls today illustrate).

Here's why: Two Republican officials involved in shaping the President's political travel tell CNN that Republicans in both Arizona and Nevada asked the White House to steer clear of those states in his final swing. Both states were on an early list of places Trump hoped to hit, officials say, but were taken off the final schedule because a presidential visit wasn't seen as helpful to Rep. Martha McSally in Arizona and Sen. Dean Heller in Nevada.

One would think that after the last week they'd want him steer clear of the whole hemisphere and visit Elba or Saint Helena or someplace until after the election.

That's because his twisted idea of right and wrong is "right is what I want and wrong is when someone tells me no."

Manchin is going to win that one -- even Republicans in the state have conceded that. Trump could help in the close house races or a state level race. West Virginians like il douche for some reason
Montana and Ohio I don't think he'll help much. He could in one, maybe two house races in Ohio, I don't know
Arizona and Nevada don't need him for the crazies to come out, candidates like that lunatic Tarkanian will hlp get them out. trumpolini will only aid in turning off independents and some republikkans
Indiana could have a boomerang effect. Lake County, St. Joe's and Indianapolis voters could turn out in greater numbers for the Democrats because he shows. Lake County turn out will help determine who wins most statewide races. Lake is very Democratic, they turned out in larger than usual numbers in '08 and Obama won the state
Georgia could wind up being similar to Indiana. The one's who normally don't vote in huge numbers are the very people he doesn't want voting and they could wind up coming out in large numbers because he reminds them why they hate him
