No wonder Trump, Kushner and the Trump people are so interested in prison reform. It's in their own self interest.

Trump is attempting to appoint a partisan lackey to oversee the Trump investigation, who, conveniently will also be able to oversee his own investigation. Yeah that sounds about right for this administration.

Comey (also no hero) said of Rosenstein "Rod is a survivor" and did not mean it as a compliment.

They've seen other people get nailed for misrepresenting what was said in a meeting, and they've seen people get nailed for not being sufficiently candid, and they've seen people get blamed for decisions they had nothing to do with. Out of pure self-interest they will document every interaction so they cannot be made the fall guy for something inappropriate later by someone trying to spread blame around for some misdeed.

The victims of this scam -- which fooled inventors into emptying out their savings for "patent help" that never came -- were flabbergasted to learn that one of the ppl involved was now the acting U.S. attorney general.

Said one former World Patent Marketing customer who lost $77,000 of Whitaker: “It’s really upsetting to know that guy will be attorney general. It’s so offensive. It’s like a stab in the back.”
