The Trump Winery in Virginia is attempting to hire six more foreign guest workers, according to a petition filed with the Department of Labor Thursday.
The winery, officially called Trump Vineyard Estates, LLC, is officially owned by President Trumps son Eric Trump.
The winery is seeking to hire the workers under the federal H-2A visa program, hoping to add to the 23 foreign guest workers it sought to hire in January.
Located near Charlottesville, the winery would pay the workers $11.46 an hour, according to the filing. The seasonal work is slated to start in February and could last through July.

Christ, the Trump Crime Family doesn't even try to hide its rank hypocrisy anymore.

(3,335 posts)So if the vineyard down the road is paying $15 or $18/hr and the Chumps are only paying $11.46, if the worker tries to leave the Chumps and goes down the road and is offered a job paying more, the Chumps can have them deported because their coming into the country is conditional on them working for the Chumps. That is why the Chumps can treat them shabbily because they know that they can threaten the H-2 Visa workers with deportation should they try and leave their employment sponsor which would be the Chumps.

(9,291 posts)This is all bs. My family went to Wildwood New Jersey a few years back. Every hotel hired Russian workers claiming they couldn't find Americans to work in the hotels and motels. They would if they paid people.
Weasels.
